BHOL 460: Affordability, Diesel, and Flock Abuse?

Affordability has come to the top of mind for everyone in the last few weeks. Record high diesel prices, rapidly rising gasoline, and other input costs that have everyone just a little freaked out. Indiana has a gas tax suspension, but nothing on the diesel side. Federally there is talk about an export ban, will that work? If fuel prices stay high, how will it affect the Indiana economy? 70,000 hoosiers are employed in the RV industry. Another 4,000 build trucks in Fort Wayne. A whole lot of Indiana jobs are on the line if recreational spending takes a severe cut. Continuing with the recreational theme, Indiana is spending 25 million dollars to rebuild the campground at McCormicks Creek state park, after the 2023 F3 tornado. THe guys review the plans, and it appears that it will be the nicest state park campgrounds in the DNR system, perhaps taking the top spot away from Prophetstown. Brightline trains are likely going bankrupt, Jake Paul created an Entourage reunion, but it immediately led to a lawsuit by HBO. “Mr Bones” introduces a new segment of “This Day in HIstory” and since Kaleb is a fireman, he has a segment picking on law enforcement and the recent hubbub over Flock cameras.
