The candidate series continues with our County Council candidates in unopposed races; Clint Weaver in district 1 and Joe Blackburn in District 4.We talk with the candidates about their vision for the county. Do they want to grow the county population over the next decade? How do we handle the short term pain after SEA 1 fully enters the budget cycle? What ways can the community plan for growth and keeping young people in the area. What is the future of the Henry County Detention center? Will it be leased out? Will it be reconfigured or possibly demolished? On the topic of the Memorial Park campus, how do we get the Expo project across the finish line? Do the candidates support the $500,000 investment into the project?

Next Episode records Thursday November 5th and we will be wrapping up the election season with results and analysis. Special thanks to Weiland’s Flower, Ink and Ale, and Muncie Farm & Fleet for their dedicated sponsorship of the candidate series.
